- In order to receive Homestead Exemption, you must own and occupy the property. You need to complete a LAT 1 form for either your residential home or mobile home. Complete the highlighted sections, sign and date the back, and return to our office. Along with this form, you will need to sign a Homestead Exemption Card to receive the $75,000 exemption.
- These forms need to be completed as soon as you have moved or finished construction. If you have moved a mobile home on land we will need you to complete these LAT forms with the cost of the mobile home. Do not include the dirt work cost.
- If a mobile home is being placed on someone else's property, please let us know the land owner's name.
- If a mobile home is being removed from the property or is no longer livable, please let our office know so we can remove it from our tax roll.
